Welcome to the beautiful Island Country of Saint Lucia of the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean. Part of the Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles. The Island is about 238 Square Miles total land area and is surrounded by other islands in the Caribbean.
Saint Lucia gained its independence from the U.K in 1979 and is known for its beautiful volcanic landscapes to include the Pitons and Sulphur Springs a drive-in volcano.
Saint Lucia is absolutely stunning with its white sand beaches and pristine crystal aquamarine waters making it the perfect vacation getaway.

As Saint Lucia is a tropical Island in the Caribbean most things to see and do here are geared around the lush landscapes and beaches. However, you can take a drive by the Government House of Saint Lucia, residence of the Governor General since 1979.
Visit Pigeon Island National Landmark, hike the Tet Paul Nature trail aka stairway to heaven, shop for local goods at the Castries
market, visit Sulfur Springs a drive through volcano or hike the Gros Pitons, it’s a steep and muddy at times hike but the views are so worth the effort.
This area is deemed a Unesco world Heritage Site, and when you take it all in, you will understand why. It’s absolutely stunning.

We also visited the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, with its beautiful waterfalls and various types of flowers, we really enjoyed our time there. You can swim in the water under the water falls and we enjoyed a lite lunch nearby. There is also street vendors along the route so enjoy the culture and take your time on this charming tropical Island.
Beaches and water activities abound on the island, snorkeling, boating, scuba diving, kite surfing and riding jet skis to name a few. There are several companies to choose from. Also, there are some of the most beautiful white sand beaches to enjoy. Sugar Beach also known as Jalousie Beach is white sugar sand and a quieter beach for relaxing, Reduit Beach is the longest beach on the island, has restaurants, bars and a lot more activities, Anse Chastanet Beach is known for its snorkeling and diving and abundant marine life, and there are many more beaches to check out.

The waters around the Island are pristine, you can’t help but fall in love with this beautiful place filled with friendly local people.
Whether you’re coming for a day on a cruise or a week on a vacation stay you will enjoy your time in this wonderful country filled with mountains, rainforests, hot springs, waterfalls and of course the warm waters of the ocean. With so much beauty and sunshine to enjoy you will be glad you came.
